I enjoyed learning a new technique in bridle this semester.  I created a pretty structured gown for a mother of a bride for this class.  The technique I picture is something I had only used in Men's tailored suits.  It is when you hand bast multiple layers of fabric together then fold over the edge of the other side so that the dress cups the lining just a little then you pin and hand bast to hold in place.   This was great because of all the layers would have pulled funny if I did not do this.  I am glad I learned this method and will use it again.
